Darning Mushroom

This traditional shaped beech wood darning mushroom has a comfortable turned handle, for providing a firm base upon which to carry out the darning of socks and similar items. The curved shape sits well in the heel of a frayed sock, enabling needlework to take place while the sock is held in the correct shape for a smooth, neat mend.
